The Mumbai Indians Women (MIW) face the UP Warriorz Women (UPW) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025. The match will be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, February 26. At the toss, MI captain Harmanpreet Kaur decided to field first against Deepti Sharma’s side.

Why Harmanpreet Kaur Chose to Bowl First

Harmanpreet Kaur shared her reasoning. She pointed out the great bowling conditions and the skill of her team’s powerplay bowlers.

“We will bowl first today. I think, first up, the bowlers are getting some help from the conditions. We have very experienced bowlers operating in the powerplay, so we want to give them the advantage and make the most of it.”
