Bumrah Reflects on India’s Comeback After Poor First Innings
India’s win was even more remarkable. The team bowled out for just 150 runs in the first innings. However, Bumrah, the stand-in captain for Rohit Sharma, was confident of a comeback.
“I played over here in 2018 and knew about the wicket. It wasn’t as spicy as the last time, but it still had enough for the bowlers. Bumrah, speaking about Jaiswal’s innings, was full of praise for the young batter.
“He is super talented, and this knock is Jaiswal’s best in his Test career. He likes to play attacking cricketer, but over here, he left a lot of balls. He knew that you can’t go for shots on every ball in Perth, and you have to respect the conditions,” – he added.
