Marnus Labuschagne, resuming at 20*, steadied the innings. He made 64 off 126 balls, with nine boundaries. His 65-run partnership with Travis Head brought Australia close to India’s first innings total. Then, Labuschagne fell to a sharp catch by Yashasvi Jaiswal.
