AUS vs IND 5th Test Day 1: Australia Rocks India With Boland’s Discipline
Australia dominated day one of the 5th Test against India in Sydney, bowling them out for 185. Scott Boland led the charge with a fiery four-wicket haul. Rishabh Pant top-scored for India with 40 runs. By stumps, Australia had also lost Usman Khawaja to Jasprit Bumrah, leaving them at 9/1.

The post-tea session belonged entirely to the Australian bowlers. Scott Boland, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins used the uneven bounce at the Sydney Cricket Ground to destroy the Indian lineup.
Boland finished with figures of 4/31, while Starc (3/49) and Cummins (2/37) provided critical support. Nathan Lyon also chipped in with a wicket.
India’s lower order collapsed quickly. Rishabh Pant fell for 40 after a reckless shot. Nitish Reddy was out for a golden duck. Skipper Bumrah added a spirited 22 off 17 balls, pushing India to 185 before they were bowled out.

Bumrah Strikes Late To Dismiss Khawaja
Australia had 15 minutes to bat before stumps and couldn’t escape unscathed. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Usman Khawaja for the sixth time in the series. He continued his dominance over Khawaja. A heated exchange between Bumrah and Sam Konstas added drama to the day’s final moments.
Australia closed the day at 9/1, with a slight edge but plenty of cricket left to play.
