BCCI Appoints Devajit Saikia and Prabhtej Singh Bhatia as Secretary and Treasurer
Devajit Saikia is now the Secretary of the BCCI. Prabhtej Singh Bhatia is the Treasurer. A press release announced that both were elected unopposed. They were the only nominees for their positions.

Saikia and Bhatia: Building on the Legacy
Devajit Saikia is a seasoned cricket administrator from the Assam Cricket Association. He was the interim Joint Secretary. His full-time appointment comes after Jay Shah’s departure. He took a key role at the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Prabhtej Singh Bhatia succeeds Ashish Shelar, who left to join the Maharashtra government. Saikia and Bhatia have much experience. They will likely improve Indian cricket’s governance and finances.
